Take Back the Stage is a national, annual drama festival aimed at kids between the ages of 13-19 (slightly flexible). We're looking to have groups of kids get together, write a show and perform it at our festival in Boston, MA next summer. The main focus of the festival is on social issues plays, but we'd love to see anything that you've put your time and energy into! There is a nation of young playwrights, actors and directors out there who all too often don't have a creative outlet. We want to give you an outlet for your talents in the shape of an annual festival where you can perform as well as sit back, watch and make friends who love theater as much as you do.
