  • April 13, 2008 - Michael was the first in Newfoundland, Canada to secure the rights to produce the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Doubt, A Parable (Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play). He has assembled a production team and preparations are underway to produce the play in October 2008. Stay tuned for more details!

  • April 3, 2008 - Obsession will have its second screening at an event called Rattle a Cage, sponsored by the Toronto Arts and Letters Club. Michael's film will be sharing the screen with artists such as Istvan Kantor and R. Bruce Elder. The screening will be held at the DeLeon White Gallery in Toronto (1139 College Street, just west of Dufferin). Doors open at 7:00 pm.

  • March 29, 2008 - Obsession will have its premiere screening at the WILDsound SHORT Film Festival, held at the National Film Board Cinema (150 John Street in the Entertainment District in downtown Toronto). Doors open at 6:30 pm.

  • March 28, 2008 - Michael will narrate Romeo Ciolfi's HOME at the WILDsound Screenplay Festival's March 2008 Reading at the National Film Board Cinema, 150 John Street, in the Entertainment District in downtown Toronto. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Event starts at 7:00pm SHARP

  • March 24, 2008 - Michael will be a guest on "The Show" this Monday @ 8 pm, discussing the screening of his short film Obsession. Michael co-wrote and co-produced this film with filmmaker / director, Virginia Kingston, who will also appear on the show. Tune in at the WILDsound website.

  • February 22, 2008 - Michael will be narrating three scripts at the WILDsound Screenplay Series - 1st Acts Head to Head to Head; the First-Acts of three screenplays will be read and the audience will vote on which scripts will be chosen to be read in its entirety at the next WILDsound Screenplay event.

  • February 15, 2008 - Michael just finished a TV and print shoot for a Canadian Women’s Foundation campaign called "Shelter from the Storm" to help stop violence against women. Last year, the Canadian Women’s Foundation, along with BMO Financial Group and Rogers Media, Winners and HomeSense raised over $1 million for this cause. Michael is honored to be part of this campaign.

  • November 9 - 11, 2007 - Playing Thomas Ryder in the historical drama, Vile Vigilance, Michael is on set at the Georgina Pioneer Village in Keswick, Ontario. This period piece deals with the massacre of the one of Canada's most notorious families, the so-called "Black Donnellys", who were murdered by a vigilante committee near Lucan, Ontario, Canada, on February 4th, 1880.   • October 15, 2007 - Michael plays a sleazy director in the short film, These are the Feets of Ashley.

  • July - August, 2007 - Michael is currently shooting the lead role in a short film which he co-wrote and co-produced, entitled Obsession.

  • June 12, 2007 - Check out the trailer for the feature film, The Running of the Bulls which deals with the seedy under belly of the rickshaw world, packed full of action, violence and off-beat humour; Michael is cast as Dylan, a street smart con artist with a gutter mouth.

  • May 11, 2007 - Vigilante, starring Michael Coady and Scott Clarkson, will premiere at Ryerson University Film Festival or RUFF on Friday, May 11th. Vigilante will headline the evening's line-up of films. The Festival is at the Royal Cinema on College Street in Toronto and the show starts at 7 PM. Some new pictures of the making of Vigilante have been posted.

  • May 4, 2007 - Michael has been cast as Timmons, a police sergeant in a neo-Noir crime drama about a murder investigation which discovers a cover up. This short film is being produced by Columbia College Hollywood.

  • April 25, 2007 - Michael will be performing on-camera scenes for student directors in the Department of Cinema and Television at Los Angeles City College.

  • March 27, 2007 - Michael has just started studying at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.

  • January 18, 2007 - Michael was offered representation by S&J Talent in Los Angeles. He is headed to LA for Pilot Season in February 2007.

  • January 12, 2007 - appearing in the docu-drama series Zero Hour on History Television Canada. The episode is entitled "North Hollywood Shootout" and recounts the most extraordinary and violent shootout in modern American police history. It airs on History Channel on Friday, January 12 at 8:00 PM EST.
