  • January 13, 2012 - Michael is shooting 2 feature films in 2012!! The New Year is off to a great start for Michael as he is cast in a feature film that is shooting in Romania in the Spring. Confessions is the second feature being produced by Toronto Pictures in Romania that Michael is attached to; Abused in America will also be shot in Brasov, Romania in the Spring of 2012. Toronto Pictures has established a Film Center in Brasov, helping develop infrastructure in what is quickly becoming a premiere location for the global film industry.   • December 1, 2011 - The short film Michael starred in, By Water's Edge is now available online. This film screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in the Cannes Court Metrage. This film takes a simple look at the human aspect of war. April 1942 (WWII), an American soldier trying to escape the enemy, encounters a young Filipino boy and his mother in Japanese-occupied Philippines. A brief encounter of kindness in a time of uncertainty.

  • November 2011 - Michael's appearance on the CMT TV Series, Angels Among Us is now available online. Michael plays Cardiologist, Dr. Chauncey Crandall (time: 05:40 - 13:00), who, after hearing divine voices from beyond, insists on reviving a patient who has been dead for 40 minutes.

  • October 12, 2011 - Michael performed in the staged reading of Silent Night in Muncie, a short film screenplay in a competition staged by We Make Movies - an Indie Film Community in Los Angeles. Michael plays John Provenzo, a travelling salesman at crossroads in life. Michael is pleased to announce that Silent Night in Muncie is the winner of this screenplay competition and was awarded a cash prize to produce the screenplay. This film goes to camera in January 2012. Michael is a proud member of We Make Movies.

  • September 28, 2011 - Valentine's Day Massacre gets its UK premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 28th on National Geographic Channel. Michael plays William "3 Fingers Jack" White, one of Capone's men and a leading conspirator in the 1929 St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago.

    • Michael shot an episode of "Angels Among Us", a new TV series, playing a doctor who, after experiencing an angelic voice, resuscitates a man who has been dead for 45 minutes. Saving lives ... just another day at work! Airing date to be announced soon!
    • The Historian Paradox is an "Official Selection" of Comic Con - Michael is excited to attend the screening on Saturday, July 23 @ 11:45 am

    • Michael shot a pilot for National Geographic channel called "Valentine's Day Massacre", depicting the murder of seven people in 1929 as part of a prohibition era conflict between Al Capone and Bugs Moran. Michael plays William "Jack 3-Fingers" White who helped engineer one of the biggest hits in the Mob's history. Airing date to be announced soon!
    • Michael travels to Romania to shoot the Global Film Studios feature, Abused in America, directed by Bruno Pischiutta

    • Michael got to work with Clint Eastwood on the set of the upcoming Hoover biopic, "J. Edgar". Clint Eastwood directs Leonardo DiCaprio.
    • Michael plays a very surprised Baby Daddy in "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant". We will keep you posted on when his episode will air on Discovery Health.
    • Michael attended the premiere of "Dead Grandma". Michael played Professor Hoskins in this web series which features Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite). Check out the trailer on Funny or Die.com

  • Trip down memory lane ... have a look at the mockumentary short film from 2007 that Michael starred in called Vigilante, winner of the 2009 YoungCuts Repechage at the Young Cuts Film Festival in Montreal, Canada. Vigilante follows a masked crime-fighter who explains his career choice to a TV news crew.

  • October 2010 - Michael has been cast in the TV pilot Eternity: Blood Roots. Eternity is a dark series about three females who make the choice of eternal life starting in the Egyptian Era (think Dexter meets True Blood); Michael plays Jeffery, a private investigator hired by the ladies who would prefer to have done something else with his life.   • August 2010 - Michael was cast in a short based on the feature film, The Historian Paradox. Michael played terrorist, Kallak McPherson, playing opposite veteran actor, Brian Tee (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Crash) in a film that features other amazing talents (Matthew Ashford, Mirelly Taylor). Shooting wrapped in August ... stay tuned for Festival release.

  • July 2010 - Michael wrapped shooting on By The Water's Edge, a World War II short film set in the Bataan, Phillipines. Michael stars in the touching story about an American GI escaping the Bataan Death March who encounters a young Phillipino boy in the forest, the bond that quickly develops between them and the sacrifice that must be made as a result.

  • June 27, 2010 - Michael is producing a benefit and fundraising event called Keep it Legal Fest 2010. This trade show for the Medical Marijuana industry, will provide a platform for this relevant and timely issue and benefit a medical marijuana not-for-profit organization while raising funds for his web series, High Up In The Hills.

  • May 23, 2010 - Michael shot a trailer for the feature film, Amber in which he plays Detective York working on a child abduction case.

  • April 17, 2010 - Michael wrapped shooting on the web series, Dead Grandma, playing the role of Professor Hoskins. The two episodes Michael appears in will soon be available on Funny or Die.com ... stay tuned!

  • March 11, 2010 - Michael has been cast in the next, currently untitled, feature film by Toronto Pictures. The film will deal with the relationship between child abuse and prostitution. Filming will take place in the USA (New York, Las Vegas & Los Angeles) and in Brazil and production begins in June 2010.

  • January - April, 2010 - Michael is busy writing and producing his web series, High Up In The Hills, slated for production in the Fall 2010. This comedy series takes a hilarious look at the Medical Marijuana industry. Check back here for more details.

  • January 6, 2010 - Michael appears in the first episode of an exciting new CBC TV Series, The Republic of Doyle. Michael, as Reg, the Penitentiary Sign-in Guard, co-stars with Allan Hawco and Sean McGinley.


  • November 2009 - Michael returns to Los Angeles having been granted the O-1 Visa, available to foreign nationals who have "extraordinary ability in the arts.” The O-1 Visa is available to those in motion pictures and television who have demonstrated a record of “extraordinary achievement.” Michael is proud to work in this extraordinary industry in Los Angeles.

  • September 2009 - Michael is shooting a CBC TV Series in St. John's, Newfoundland. He co-stars as Reg, the prison guard in the season premiere of the new detective series, The Republic of Doyle, airing nationally in Canada on CBC in January 2010.

  • May 2009 - Michael returns to Newfoundland to perform the role of Otto Frank in the powerful Pulitzer Prize winning script, The Diary of Anne Frank. Directed by Steve O'Connell, produced by John Rao, The Diary of Anne Frank is an impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding in an attic in Nazi-occupied Holland, capturing the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, their laughter, their grief, and their hope. Michael will serve as Assistant Producer and mentor to the young actors in the cast.

  • April 30, 2009 - Michael will be performing in the one act play 10 Hours by David J. Watkins as part of the "Theater Jam" at The Black Box Theater on 12420 Santa Monica Blvd. in West LA.

  • April 13, 2009 - Michael will play the role of Lumberjack, the Vietnam Vet hiding from the world as a cook in a roadhouse bar in a reading of Stephen Blackburn's Smell of a Christian at The Complex on 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.


  • March, 2009 - Michael continues his participation in Shelter from the Storm, the Canadian Women’s Foundation national funding drive to raise awareness and funds for Women's shelters across Canada. Michael is featured in this TV and print campaign to help stop violence against women. Please Donate!

  • March 19, 2009 - Michael will be reading the role of "Tommy" in Jeremy Kehoe's script Osama Been Laughing at The Complex on 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.

  • Feb 24, 2009 - Michael will be reading the role of in a staged reading of Paul Elliot's script Exit Laughing at Fierce Backbone at The Complex on 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.
