- Michael will perform the role of defense attourney, Mr. Lane in a
new drama by award-winning playwright Mona Deutsch Miller. The
Beating will be performed as part of the 2008 SEASON AWARD WINNING
PLAYS presented by the All Original Playwrights Workshop at The
Actors Group Theatre, 4378 Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.

- The
Telegram review of Doubt, A Parable proclaims "Strong Performances
in 'Doubt'", describing the "performance by the four
principals [as] compelling."
- October 22 - November
1, 2008 - Michael stars as Father Flynn in the Newfoundland premiere
of Doubt,
A Parable. Michael also produced this Pulitzer Prize winning
play.

- Michael co-stars as a security guard who is the inside man on a "Brinks
Job" on the CBC pilot, The
Republic of Doyle.

- July - October
2008 - Michael is currently in pre-production and fundraising for the
Pulitzer Prize winning play, Doubt, A Parable (Winner
of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play). He is producing it in Newfoundland.

- May 10, 2008 - Vile Vigilance, a film about the Donnelly Massacre in which Michael

- Michael was the first in Newfoundland, Canada to secure the rights
to produce the Pulitzer Prize winning play, Doubt,
A Parable (Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play).
He has assembled a production team and preparations are underway to
produce the play in October 2008. Stay tuned for more details!

- Obsession was
chosen as Film of the Week on the WILDsound
website. Check it out!
- April 3, 2008 - Obsession will have its second screening at an event called Rattle
a Cage, sponsored by the Toronto Arts and Letters Club. Michael's
film will be sharing the screen with artists such as Istvan Kantor and
R. Bruce Elder. The screening will be held at the DeLeon White Gallery
in Toronto (1139 College Street, just west of Dufferin). Doors open
at 7:00 pm.

- Obsession will have its premiere screening at the WILDsound
SHORT Film Festival, held at the National Film Board Cinema (150
John Street in the Entertainment District in downtown Toronto). Doors
open at 6:30 pm.

- Michael will be narrating three scripts at the WILDsound
Screenplay Series - 1st Acts Head to Head to Head; the First-Acts
of three screenplays will be read and the audience will vote on which
scripts will be chosen to be read in its entirety at the next WILDsound
Screenplay event.
- February 15, 2008
- Michael just finished a TV and print shoot for a Canadian Women’s
Foundation campaign called "Shelter
from the Storm" to help stop violence against women. Last year,
the Canadian Women’s Foundation, along with BMO Financial Group
and Rogers Media, Winners and HomeSense raised over $1 million for this
cause. Michael is honored to be part of this campaign.
